Chestatee River Group was founded by seasoned professionals from the technology, manufacturing, energy, and professional services industries, not by career consultants. Bruce Longshore

President & CEO


With 25 years of business and consulting experience, Bruce has worked extensively with technology, professional services and manufacturing companies. He has earned a solid reputation of building organizations and leadership teams that can quickly achieve organizational excellence.

Bruce routinely partners and collaborates with the client's leadership on strategy development, operations improvement, strategic infrastructure design, leadership development, and the change process that links human performance with strategy and operational plans. Also, he provides coaching and consultation to senior executives to improve the leadership team functioning.

He has led processes in the Merger and Acquisition due diligence, transition and integration phases for both large multi-site corporations and small high-growth companies.

Bruce received a B.S. in business administration from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and an M.B.A. through the University of Georgia system.

Charlie Cummins

Principal


Charlie Cummins, MS, LPC, is a coach, executive advisor, consultant, author and speaker in the area of human performance, with over 20 years experience in helping individuals and organizations. He has been featured on CNN, BNN, NBC, and in numerous print articles. As the host of the Moving Toward Greatness broadcast on Voice America Radio, Charlie focused on strategies for executive coaching and human performance, while incorporating the expertise of leaders from around the world. He recently published his first book: "Uprooting Anger: Eliminating the Emotion that Kills."

Charlie offers a unique combination of personal and professional skills gathered from his background in clinical psychology and organizational management. This combination of skills equips him to evaluate and present success principles that help executives and their organizations maximize the use of their number one resource: themselves.

Charlie acquired his master's degree in science from Georgia State University and additional doctoral studies in clinical psychology at Adler School of Psychology in Chicago. Subsequently, he has developed and administered health programs on a national level and has served as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies.

An adventurer whose personal passions include martial arts, skydiving and the outdoors, Charlie is proficient in developing strong, strategic leadership with masterful communication skills. Movement, productivity, organizational insight, the bottom line, and the ability to hire and develop leaders are part of the skill set and experience he offers in a confidential and objective working relationship.

Greg Taylor


With over 30 years of business experience, Greg has worked extensively across technology, manufacturing (high volume, discrete and process), financial services and professional services companies. He is a proven leader who understands the relationship between vision, strategic objectives, business goals and initiatives. He has consistently built high performing teams in supply chain, manufacturing and finance organizations.

Greg uses a partnering/collaboration approach to address the needs of his teams, customers and partners in creating strategic plans that can be reliably operationalized. His leadership skills are routinely brought to bear in generating high value returns for his organizations.

He has lead teams in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and bankruptcy in both large, multi-site global corporations and small, high growth companies.

Greg received a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Engineering from Yale University and a Masters in Management with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Economics from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
